General Terms and Conditions (AGB)

Arrival and departure

Your booked apartment is usually available from 14:00 on the day of arrival. If you would like a different check-in time, please discuss this with us at the time of booking. The initial and final cleaning, bed linen, towels, crockery, cutlery and additional costs (water, electricity/gas, heating etc.) are included in the price. On the day of departure, the apartment must be vacated by 10:00 am at the latest. If you wish to leave later, we can arrange an individual time - depending on the subsequent booking.

By prior arrangement, we can provide you with a mooring for boats up to 8 meters in length.

Guests undertake to present a valid identity card or passport on the day of arrival. In the event of loss of the apartment key, guests undertake to reimburse the management for the replacement and, if necessary, the replacement of the lock.

Booking

For the booking we need information about the desired apartment, the number of persons and the planned period. As soon as we have received your written booking, we will send you a booking confirmation/invoice. If you have any questions, we will contact you immediately.

Terms of payment

Upon receipt of the booking confirmation/invoice, a deposit of 30% of the total price must be paid within 10 days of the invoice date in order to reserve the apartment for you.

If the deposit is not received by us on time, the reservation will be canceled and the booking canceled. The balance of the total price must be paid before arrival.

After full payment you will receive a written confirmation by e-mail, which must be presented to the management of Olive House on arrival.

Resignation

Cancellation of the contract is possible at any time. In this case, please send us a written cancellation of your booking.

Please note that our apartments are booked long term in advance. A short-term "re-letting" before arrival is usually not possible. In the event of cancellation, the following cost regulations apply:

  • Up to 31 days before arrival: no costs

  • Up to 30 days before arrival: 30 % of the total price

  • Up to 15 days before arrival: 60% of the total price

  • Up to 8 days before arrival or later: 100 % of the total price

We therefore strongly recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.

The vacation apartment

Please handle the booked apartment, the inventory and the technical equipment with care. The condition of the apartment will be checked together with the guests on arrival and departure and documented in writing. This also applies to the respective terrace and balcony furniture as well as objects in the outdoor area.

Guests are liable for any damage caused by failure to comply with the duty of care and notification. We ask our guests to report any defects or damage to our Olive House staff within 24 hours of arrival. Damaged or missing items must be replaced by the person responsible. The price according to the inventory list applies.
