About Olive House

"Beautiful beaches with picturesque bays, the crystal-clear water on the coast with its marine life and the unique landscapes inland have made the hearts of my family and I beat faster since our first vacation in Croatia. It seems like fate that we discovered "our" dream a few years ago: Olive House, a villa with spacious rooms, clean and close to the sea. The family soon decided to buy the house, spend our future vacations in Croatia and make it affordable for others ...", Jacqueline Walter.

Arrival at
Olive House

By plane

Off on vacation and 3 to 4 hours later relaxing on the beautiful terrace of Olive House - this is possible by plane. During the season, there are many flights from international airports directly to Zadar Airport. From Zadar it is about an hour's drive to Olive House in Šimuni by rental car, bus or shuttle service.

By car 🚗

The drive takes around 4 to 10 hours, depending on the location in Europe. From Munich, for example, it takes between 7 and 10 hours. Of course, this depends on traffic and the chosen mode of travel. You can either drive over the bridge to the island of Pag or take the ferry from Prizna.

Early risers can avoid the traffic, especially at the Karawanken tunnel. The costs for gasoline, vignettes (Austria, Slovenia, Croatia) and tolls at the Karawanken Tunnel are between €90 and €130, depending on the length of your stay. To save time on the road, vignettes can be purchased online in advance. You can pay in euros, as the euro was introduced in Croatia on 01.01.2023.
